I like this rope protector it helps when there is an edge that is vertical so you can’t lay a towel or something on it and it stays put so the rope doesn’t get frayed.

Wonderful gear. Thoughtfully made and really well designed!
Bought these for top rop solo, but took them out on a lead trad rope solo climb. Worked well to protect my anchor for any abrasion from the tree.
I’m new to climbing and finding a climbing partner has been the hardest thing about it! So the TRS kit, and vids have opened the door to climbing when I want to and not be limited to only climb when I can find a partner. Im still learning but always improving; I practice placing gear and clipping in with a secondary rope to increase my confidence on gear placement for trad climbing…. Not ready for LRS yet but that will come later

I love how low profile and easy to carry this rope protector is. The way it attaches to the rope is cool too!
Beats all other rope protectors in that you can get it out of the way one-handed as you top out on that cliff or parapet.
Way better then what I had. I was using a 3' section off garden house that was split down the middle and had America on one end and a carabiner on the other. I know heavy but it worked. This is so much nicer!

It’s great with a lot of thoughts for the details. I use it a lot in the palatina forest where we have really loose sandstone which is a killer for ropes. It works exactly as advertised. I was worried that the one-handed removal would be difficult, or the setup knee and I was blown away by how straightforward and simple it was to use. Perfect for route development, and top rope soloing.
