Lead rope solo anchors should be cinched upwards to reduce unwanted slack and avoid crossloading carabiners, but in a way that still allows dynamic fall absorption. Our Slide-Cinch is purpose built for this task - the rope is held snug, but still slides through during a fall.
This rubber quicklink add-on is a game-changer for tensioning your anchors upwards effortlessly, especially when setting a two bolt inline anchor with a stick clip, or when cinching a soft catch bungee system upwards.
*Rubber Keeper only, quicklink not included*
Key Features:
Adaptable Fit
Our TPU Keeper features flexible flaps, accommodating a wide range of rope diameters. This adaptability ensures a perfect fit for various rope sizes.
Secure and Reliable
Engineered for a snug fit, our keeper lives securely on a 5/16" quicklink. Once in place, it’s impossible to drop or lose.
Effortless Operation
Designed for fly-by anchoring as well, the TPU Keeper allows for one-handed deployment. A versatile anchoring accessory for LRS cragging.

Now this one is essential and because I currently use aluminium duel lock biners this rules out any cross loading which is good to know and gives pease of mind when above your first couple placements.
Avant has been a significant contributor to me getting into rock, climbing one of the biggest challenges. I’ve personally faced in this journey is getting someone to blame me. I’m often out alone on an adventure and all of the innovations and products Avant has released, made climbing seem accessible for someone like me. The videos in conjunction with how not 2 have guided and brought climbing back into my life, it’s been exciting and fulfilling and also brought me into a beautiful friend group at the gym as well. I am very thankful for avant products and I love sharing the knowledge I’ve learned through all of the videos and I just wanna thank the whole team
totally fallen in love with lead rope solo

I use a Edelrid Slider carabiner, which fits the clipstick, to hang in the second point.
Before I got the cinch I used Stanley glue clamps for backfeedprevention.
The slide cinch works perfectly! This solves the bottom anchor reliability problem neatly, allowing to simply clipstick the first bolts and rely on the tension to keep the carabiners in good form.
I've only used them in doors so far. I've been practicing and am almost ready to venture out when the weather improves. The product is an excellent design and does the job perfectly. Also it feels robust enough to be used repeatedly, it just has to be worked over the maillon locker
The idea is very good, but the material it is made of is very soft, in just one day of use it has already deteriorated. I have similar pieces for rope locks, made with a 3D printer, and they have not been damaged with the first use like this one, in fact they are several years old and do not have any type of damage. It's a shame that a leader in rope only makes these types of products.

Hey Agus, sorry to hear the cincher isn't working as you expected. I did want to let you know that you should expect the Slide Cinch to "wear in" to your specific rope diameter. This will look dramatic at first, but then will stabilize and still hold well. This was our best way to get a strong enough cinch to work for heavy bungee type anchors while still adapting to a variety of rope sizes.
If the device does fully start failing to cinch, please do reach out to info@avantclimbing.com and we will make it right!

The anchor tensioner is worth every penny, it makes inline 2 bolts setup fool
proof. They are fungible items and I bought a bunch of them; first I bought shows wear after about using it for ~30 anchors but still works perfectly, I have the others in reserve.
I’ve been using the slide cinch for my anchor tensioner for months and absolutely love it. I fall and hang regularly and it has held up very well to my abuse. I’m very surprised that I haven’t worn it out yet. Hundreds of hangs and falls (with my bungee anchor) and it still works just fine. I saw another review on here that showed an interesting wear pattern. Maybe it isn’t being used as intended …? I wholeheartedly support this super useful tool.

Great bit of kit, and I like the way it works with the 8mm quick link. It just seems to have worn a lot on the first outing, and I’m not sure how long it will last
Store owner replied:
Hey Nathan, The slide cinch does wear in "at first use." This was the best way for us to work with a variety of different rope diameters, but I think you will find that it will still last a long time despite this first notching effect. Even for someone like me who leads solos all the time, it lasts at least a season. But to be fair, it is a consumable item that has proven crucial for the bungee system to work.

Does what it needs to do! The only issue i found is that if you pass the rope through it too quickly, it'll burn the plastic a bit.
In addition to anchor tensioning, this can be used when linking pitches. If you are catching big air and you have a lot of rope stretch use these to back up your soft cinches.
The Slide Cinch has got to be the easiest way to increase your LRS cragging efficiency. The cinch makes it so easy to set an inline two-bolt anchor from the ground and cinch everything upwards to be nice and tidy.
